Russell is a partner in TLT’s Financial Services Regulation team and deals with contentious and non-contentious financial services issues.
He has extensive experience dealing with matters involving retail financial products regulated by the FCA (particularly consumer credit, retail mortgages, payment services and savings) and disputes involving the sale and supply of goods and services and asset recovery. Russell also regularly advises on regulated activities, compliance issues (including consumer law), drafts documentation for regulated products and advises on remediation projects.
The 2016 Chambers UK guide recognises Russell as an "up-and-coming" partner within the banking litigation field and notes his experience in financial mis-selling claims.
Russell is retained by the Finance & Leasing Association to provide training to its members.
Russell qualified as a solicitor in 2005. He joined TLT from Squire Patton Boggs in 2016.
