For the second year running TLT will be the sole legal partner for the Founder Institute’s London training programme for entrepreneurs in the early stages of their business.
The Founder Institute is a global start-up launch program, which aims to harness an entrepreneur’s vision and equip them with the knowledge and focus to drive their business forward.
The London series of events will take place over three months during Spring 2016. Drawing on advice from a range of experienced mentors, the programme offers a challenging and comprehensive curriculum of company-building events, hosted by TLT. Sessions are designed to help entrepreneurs plan and start building every aspect of their business, from the core idea to the product and revenue model.
TLT is supporting the programme in a number of ways. We’ll be hosting each of the events at our London office, and presenting sessions on topics such as Startup Legal and IP. Mentors from TLT include Nick Fenner, an expert in intellectual property issues, and Jon Gill, who brings extensive M&A experience and a keen interest in entrepreneurship.
“We’re excited to see what this year’s crop of entrepreneurs brings,” says Nick Fenner. “The environment for new ventures is tough, but the quality and range of advice entrepreneurs will receive as part of the Founder Institute’s programme – not to mention the excellent connections that mentors can bring – should give them a sizeable advantage. At TLT we have a track record of supporting successful fast growth companies and we’re keen to share our extensive experience with what will hopefully be the pioneers of tomorrow.”
