TLT advises on the acquisition of Bournville Architects

TLT has advised Stride Treglown on the acquisition of Bournville Architects, the in-house architectural practice of Bournville Village Trust, the housing association and charity established by George Cadbury. This was for an undisclosed sum.

The TLT team was led by corporate partner, David Isaacson; commercial partner, Neel Mehta; corporate associate, Antonia Silvestri; commercial associate, Dan Read; pensions associate, Damien Garrould; corporate solicitor, Edward Chapman; commercial solicitor, Emma Fox; tax solicitor, Natalie Stoter; and commercial solicitor, Steve Graham.

TLT's David Isaacson said: "Our wide ranging team from across the firm and expertise in the housing association sector successfully supported Stride Treglown's ambitious growth plans to establish its first Midlands presence. An in-house architectural practice is rare for a housing association and reflects the unique nature and history of Bournville Village Trust, so this was a fantastic deal to work on."

Squire Patton Boggs advised Bournville Village Trust.
