TLT has advised boohoo.com, a leading global online fashion retailer, on its acquisition of 66% of the issued share capital of PrettyLittleThing, an online fashion brand, for £3.3 million.
The TLT team was led by corporate partners Alice Gardner and Stephen Devlin and included tax partner, Nathan Williams; employment associate, Jessica Foster; and corporate solicitor, Nicola Morgan.
TLT's Alice Gardner said: "This is our client's first key acquisition since being listed on the AIM two years ago. In the last few years boohoo.com has grown from being Manchester's best kept fashion secret to one of the fastest growing global online retailers. With PrettyLittleThing shortly to be within the group, that growth is set to continue both in the UK and internationally. We look forward to working with boohoo.com again in the near future."
boohoo.com's General Counsel and Company Secretary Keri Devine said: "Alice, Stephen and the whole TLT team were always there when we needed them through-out the process and delivered the transaction under a challenging timetable. It was great to work with the TLT once again who delivered us a seamless best in class experience."
TLT was appointed to boohoo.com's legal panel in 2014 to support the retailer on a broad range of legal issues including contentious IP work, commercial advice, disputes, and property issues.
